About Me

Hello friends! Thanks for checking out my blog! Im just going to tell you a little about me...

I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, so I have a strong liking for Portillo's chocolate cake shakes and deep dish pizza. I also love homemade guacamole and a good cup of coffee. In general, I just really like food--especially Thai food :) In my free time you'll find me taking photos, reading, or spending quality time with family and friends.

But the most important thing you need to know about me is that I am a follower of Christ. My faith and my relationship with Christ are the most important things in my life and they impact everything that I do. I am broken and I am a sinner in need of God's grace. Through Christ's sacrifice on the cross I have been forgiven, redeemed, and set free.

I recently graduated from Northwestern College (Iowa) with a degree in Spanish and a minor in TESOL. While in college, I spent a semester studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain and I really grew to love Spanish people and culture. Upon returning home from my study abroad I sensed God calling me to return to Spain as a missionary. I got connected with a missions organization called TEAM and I am excited to be returning to Sevilla as a TEAM missionary. I can't wait to see how God will use my teaching and Spanish language skills to minister to Spaniards and share the gospel with them.
